The font family consists of Droid Sans, Droid Sans Mono and Droid Serif. Each typeface has an extensive character set including coverage of Western European, Eastern/Central European, Baltic, Cyrillic, Greek and Turkish languages.
The Droid Sans font really pops on the Mini's small screen. It's text is clear, easy to read and takes up less screen space. Try it out, your eyes will thank me.
To install the Droid fonts, in a terminal type:
sudo apt-get install ttf-droid
- click for a higher resolution

Thanks for another great tip. I just installed this font on my Mini 10v and it does indeed look great.
It's a good thing, too, because once I install Lucid, I'm going to want to replace the ugly default font of Thunderbird 3. :-)
Thanks for the tip! My Mini9 screen looks clean and crisp!
